I just found your web site and saw your promo video. I don't know you, but wanted to thank you for your courage and ambition on the fight for help for fibromyalgia. I have had fibro since my 20's. I am now on my way to 54. I am still able to work, but it takes all my energy and then when I am off work I can't do much around home. I work as a nurses aid in a nursing home. Good luck on your marathons.

Hi there,
I just wanted to drop you a line or two after I stumbled upon your website via the nakd wholefoods facebook page.
I was really inspired to see how passionate you are about training, pushing your body (or rather doing what it was made to do) and raising money for such good causes. Currently I'm in the midst of preparing for a 254 mile walk home (from Nottingham to Devon) because I'm raising money for b-eat; a charity which I am very passionate about following my own struggle with an eating disorder. Looking through your website has really encouraged me and given me a little more self belief that I'll be able to complete the walk/trek that I'm about to embark on with my boyfriend.
So thank you :) and good luck with your future adventures!
the warmest wishes of happiness to you and yours,
Imogen

Hi Duckie :)
I'd like to say an enourmous thanks from myself and all our members. We couldn't do what we do without your support, I love watching the training and seeing all the funny photos, I know lots of others do too.
Thanks for supporting us and letting us come along wherever you go. One thought for you to hang on to....
recently had an email from a lady who's housebound, saying how the photos on the site are helping her see parts of the world she's always wanted to visit, but was now unable to.
I sometimes get mails that say thanks to fibroduck they never feel alone, just having that little yellow duck on top of the tv, was helping them feel much less isolated, for some it gave them a reason to go out, even if it's just to the garden to take photos.
Most of all I get thanks for getting people to simply have fun and laugh a bit, that for me is fantastic.
So I'd like to pass on that thanks to you and everyone else that supports us. You make a whole lot of people smile :)

"Fibro-In-Recovery" writes
A friend sent me a link to ur website as I am suffering from fibromyalgia - but with positive thinking, I am actually in recovery.
From a hard working Mum in full time employment I took to my bed. Too tired to lift my head from the pillow. Pain throughout my body.
Slowly I have learned to live with the restrictions that this illness imposes on me, but there are times when frustrations overcome me and tears and depression result.
This is an illness which is difficult for others to understand.
Thankyou for recognising us sufferers and supporting our charity.

Hi Janine. A nice site - straight to the point and no distractions. You truly are an inspiration! It sounds as though we are similar in our love of real food (i make a cracking lasagne and shepards pie!). I also find it REALLY hard to lose weight and i am desparate to lose some. I am going for a gym induction at uni and am going to try the climbing wall and stuff like that. Keep on going Jay!!
