The great day has arrived!

It was an early start, a long day, a longer drive home, but oh boy, what a magical day!

I have blogged the main detail already.

I am just glad I followed a sensible recovery plan, training plan, taper plan over the last week. Plus the bigger picture and goal has been sensibly reduced into training chunks to accomodate each of my events, leading up to the main challenge of the Forces March.

I also must thank my kit - compression tights are just hanging on in there. I really need to replace those now! Born In A Field compression socks have proven very effective worn as recovery socks so I shall be calling them tomorow for new tights!

Training is partly physical but it is also about diet, listening, learning, focus and drive.

I have some fantastic people who help me with this so my last 24 hours is a tribute to them -
Gareth (personal training & kettlercise), Daniela (Zumba), Vanessa (massage), my own research for fueling, refueling, hydrating and rehydrating the body, revive for their invaluable knowledge and facilities, plus my support of friends and family. Plus my the wonderful people at Nakd!!!

What will tomorrow bring?
